Reset for a New Intake
Put every choice back to zero and reuse a form that has filled up
A form whose caps have filled is finished, unless you reset it. Reset counts reopens every place while keeping the limits you set.
Resetting
- Open the Form tab
- Click Reset counts
- Click Reset counts to confirm
Every choice goes back to zero, full choices become selectable again, and your numbers are untouched. This is the setting to use at the start of a new term, a new week of slots, or a second round of the same sign-up.
Keeping or deleting the responses
Resetting the counts does not delete anything by default. The responses already collected on the live form stay where they are, and stay exportable.
If you want a clean slate, tick Also delete the stored responses before confirming. That is permanent, so export first if there is any chance you will want the data. See Responses and export.
What reset does not do
- It does not change your limits
- It does not reopen or close your original Google Form
- It does not affect responses collected through the Google Forms link before you started using the live form
